I’ve been holding a lot of stress in my body lately and I had the opportunity last week to have a lovely walk on the beach, so I thought I’d share it with you.
I’ve tried to capture the feel of it rather than take good photo’s.
I know feet photo’s are annoying but again I wanted to share with you the feel of my walk. The water was cold but not too cold.
I loved the reflection of the low sun on the water.
I was trying to be open to all the sensations.
I felt very relaxed after my walk and the photos remind me of those feelings.
I’ve been enjoying the spring weather and pottering around the garden today and as I was enjoying being outside I saw my first ladybird of the year:-)
Out on a walk at the weekend, we came across these little chaps. I particularly like the one which looks like it’s been drawn on with a black marker pen!
We try and have fridays off of thinking about work and chores. Last friday we went for a walk at Holme next the Sea, a beach a short drive from us. It was lovely but very, very windy.
I love living in Norfolk! 🙂
When we went up to Norwich last week we noticed that the memorial garden above the market had actually been finished. It had felt like it had been in process for as long as we’d lived in Fakenham! Anyway, it was a lovely surprise as it was full of people chatting, eating their sandwiches etc., it has a great atmosphere and a good design, we liked it very much. Here’s a couple of piccies….
It did help that it was a lovely sunny day but do go and have a look for yourselves. Norwich is a good city to just wander around!
Walking on the beach in January with a flask of tea at hand….
Chilly in places but lovely all the same!
This can be a blog of very few words, but sometimes you just don’t need them do you?
I realised today that Keith and I go for walks more in the autumn and winter than any other time of the year. It is quite beautiful at the moment. We went for a walk this afternoon to Foxley wood, nr Fakenham it was so lovely, I’ve tried to record the essence of it with my camera not for perfect pics just for how it felt. Come on my walk with me!
Now the roast’s in the oven so it’s time for a nice cup of tea and a piece of friendship cake given to us by our friends the Cartwrights, Happy Sunday!
