Actually, it wasn’t found on the market, but it was found on market day! 🙂

This wonderfully cute celestial globe I found in one of the charity shops in town for only £1.00.  The moon, inside the sun, inside the planets, inside the galaxy! 🙂

Well actually, this was not found on the market, it was found on market day in a charity shop! I’m really loving the wonderful, kitsch, perpetual calendar I found. It’s a real blast from the 70’s when I was growing up. I got this fab thing for just £1.00.
It beats peering at a screen looking for the date ! 🙂

Well, Fakenham Market finds this time is about something someone found for me!

I was surprised a few days ago to be presented with these lovely spoons that a friend found on the market and thought of me.

They have now joined my collection! 🙂

I found this one on the market for just £1.00, not for cooking I don’t think!

I might have a go at painting it and hang it on the wall 🙂

Well, I haven’t been here for a while, sorry if you’ve missed me! I have been enjoying my simple life, teaching myself about natural dyes.

I had time this morning though to pop to our local market and I picked up these two lovely things for myself.

£1.40 for the two – I’m still on form! 🙂

I haven’t been sharing my finds for a while have I. I’ve been so busy doing so much and haven’t had time to report back to you folks.

These are the lovely finds from last week. A really lovely Japanese lacquer box and a beautiful little art nouveau book of poems by Elizabeth Barratt Browning 1903.

Both for only £2.50, what a treat! 🙂

Fakenham Market Finds – gardening

Well, I haven’t been to the market for a few weeks, but popped down again the other day and found some more bargins.

My rose arch took a bit of a battering over the winter and I bought these arch frames with the idea of stablising it.
…and it worked, just £5.00 for the two!

I couldn’t resist these little fellas , now could I, just £2.00 each. 🙂
